Prices

What damp treatment costs, item by item.

A figure over the phone would be a guess, so here is something better: Belgian market ranges for each item, and what moves the figure. Yours is put in writing after the visit, which is free.

Wall being made sound, plaster stripped at the base

What moves the figure

Wall thickness and type. A 40 cm solid brick wall needs more product and more holes than a 20 cm wall. Stone and composite walls need another protocol.

Access. A party wall can only be injected from one side. A wall buried under a pavement is not dug out like a garden wall.

The state of the plaster. Plaster to strip over the full height costs more than a 60 cm band.

Reinstatement. Skirting, paint, floors: often half the quote, and the part that makes the result visible.

What you will not see from us

A quote to sign on the spot, the day of the visit. A treatment priced without a reading. An injection proposed for every stain low on a wall. A round figure for the whole house without saying what it contains.

What you will see: the cause and the repair on two separate lines, measured quantities, and start and end dates in the quote.

VAT

For a home over ten years old, the work is at 6 % VAT instead of 21 %. That is the case for almost every Brussels house. The ranges above are given excluding VAT.

Questions

The questions we get.

What is the average price of damp treatment?

There is no honest average: repointing a joint runs to hundreds of euros, a full cellar tanking to thousands. The per-item ranges above are more useful than an average.

Are these your prices?

They are Belgian market ranges, given so you know what to expect. Our price is put in writing after the visit, and it falls within these ranges except in a particular case, which we then explain.

Is the quote free?

The visit and the written quote, yes. The technical report for an insurer or a dispute is a fixed fee, announced first.

Is there a grant?

The Brussels regional renovation grants are suspended at the time of writing. Some communes keep a façade grant. In Wallonia the scheme changes at the end of September 2026. We tell you what applies to you at the visit.
